When considering a facility, your personal stabling expenses, and the total care of your
horse, compare our fees and the services we provide. Your horse's health, safety, and
comfort is our primary concern!
 
We believe you will find our fees competitive and include many inclusive services that
will save you time, money, and concern. Let us provide all your horses needs under our
umbrella of care!
 
We limit commercial stall space to only a few boarders that meet the criteria for
. 
               

    Elite Care: $300 monthly (Please see what all Elite Care includes!)
    •  Individually customized care
    •  12x12 stall (we also have indoor/outdoor stalls with double dutch doors! )
    •  Private paddocks coming soon!
    •  Daily turn out (except in inclimate weather)
    •  Stalls are cleaned and disinfected each day
    •  Feed and Water containers are sanitized each day
    •  Twice daily feeding of top quality grain, oats and hay
    •  We buy our feed and hay locally!

                   *We provide only top quality feed, grain, oats, and hay for our boarders! 

    •  Pasture grazing (we currently have four rotating pastures)
    •  Fresh water in stalls daily
    •  We also have spring fed ponds and a fresh water creek
    •  Daily exercise (at your request)
      •  In season insect repellant
      •  Bi annual deworming\
      •  Administration of any medications required by your equine

                       (Actual Medications are the Owner's responsponsibility)

         
         
                Elite Care includes all full board services as stated above
                                                  PLUS:
      • We have our own Veterinarian and Farrier!
      • Our Vet and Farrier make regular visits to our barn.

                    *bi-annual Veterinarian examinations

      • Farrier services every 6-8 weeks for exams and hoof trimming (shoeing extra)
      • bi-annual 5-way vaccinations (Enceph, Rhino, East/West Nile, Tetanus)

                ** An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

       

      *** Please note each client is responsible for their equine's insurance (if any),

           and for all unscheduled and emergency veterinary and farrier services.

       

                Transport to your personal vet or farrier can be provided for a fee of                            

                $3 a mile. There is no fee for loading, holding and handling your horse,                      

                however; waiting with your horse at your Vet is billed in 30 minute                             

                increments of $10.                                                                                                

       
                We do not charge extra for fly spray, barn supplies, or fan/electricity usage!

        Since Riverwood is a private residence, we respectfully ask that you call ahead or
        schedule regular times when you will visit us. For the safety of all our residents, 
        clients and their guests, we do not allow anyone on the premises without a guest pass 
        or without notifying management and staff.
         
        No one but clients and their guests are allowed on the property.

         

        Ask about discounts for more than one resident!

         

        Many of the services we offer require us to understand your specific needs.
